Government legislations and other legal institutions, as well as an overall awareness and demand for more sustainable products, play an important role.

As a result, wind energy and reliability is becoming increasingly important. Also higher demands on power quality, i.e. how ‘clean’ our energy is. Power resistors help to increase the power quality and reliability and Backer has a long and extensive experience in this field of application. We offer a wide range of resistors specially designed for different wind turbine applications but also other applications such as electrical grids.
